2024 UAB Athletics Hall of Fame Nominations
UAB Athletics is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Hall of Fame Class. The criteria for nominations are below.
Student Athlete
Must have completed athletics career at UAB at least five years prior to the year of nomination.
Must be a letter winner at UAB.
Demonstrated leadership, sportsmanship, character and integrity.
Completed athletic career as a UAB Record Holder, recipient of conference awards, post season accolades, and/or noteworthy accomplishments that enhanced your value to the team.
Garnered success at the professional level of your sport.
Coach
Must have served at least five years as part of the UAB Athletics Coaching Staff.
Eligible five years after leaving specific role of nomination.
Administrator
Have not worked for UAB in the last five years.
Must have worked in the UAB athletics department for a minimum of five years.
Team
Must have achieved unprecedented success on the playing field and brought national recognition to UAB. (i.e. national championships, undefeated seasons)
Teams are eligible five years after completion of nominated season.
Other Consideration
Nominees for this award should not be a former UAB student-athlete, coach or athletics administrator unless current circumstances warrant such inclusion.
Individual must have made significant contributions to the advancement of UAB Athletics.
No more than two of these selections shall be accepted per induction term.
