AS A SENIOR (2017):
Allstate AFCA Good Works Team…Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Semifinalist…C-USA All Conference Honorable Mention… Finished the season with 57 tackles (39 unassisted 18 assisted)…Led the team with 13 TFL…Four total tackles in season opener against Alabama A&M (9/2)…Six tackles against Ball State including a TFL and PBU (9/9)…Posted five tackles and a PBU at North Texas (9/23)…Had a season high nine tackles, a sack and 1.5 TFLs in UAB’s win over La Tech (10/7)…Recorded five tackles, two TFLs, one sack and had a safety against Middle Tennessee (10/14)…Had seven tackles and a blocked PAT against Southern Miss (10/28)…Tallied six tackles and a sack on the road at UTSA (11/11).

AS A JUNIOR (2014):
Appeared in all 12 games for the Blazers, finishing as the number three overall tackler with 50 total stops…Racked up 12.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and one quarterback hurry…Also added one interception, three passes broken up, four passes defended and one fumble recovery…Has 113 total tackles in Blazer career…Remained at UAB after 2014 season despite interest from a bevy of other schools, including offers from Western Michigan, Western Kentucky, and Marshall.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played at Lanett High School in Lanett, Alabama for Clifford Story… Was a three-year starter for the Panthers… Recorded 366 tackles during prep career… Named to the All-District team in 2011… 2011 honorable mention all-state selection by the ASWA…Received interest from all 14 Conference USA Schools, as well as Troy, and East Carolina… Also a standout in basketball and track… Helped guide the Panthers to two, Alabama 2A Final Fours, and played in the North vs. South All-Star Game… On the track, he was a two-time state champion in 2010 and 2011.
