UAB Fan Fest: Know Before You Go

BIRMINGHAM - UAB Athletics is set to host the second annual Fan Fest this Saturday, Aug. 17, at Legacy Pavilion from 2-4 p.m. Below are the key items fans needs to know before heading to campus.

Event: Free and open to the public.

Parking: Free parking will be available at four different lots around the UAB Football Operations Center.

Collat School of Business
UBob Parking Deck (Corner of University Blvd and 13th Street)
Lot at the corner of University Blvd and 11^th Street (near back entrance of Football Operations Center)
WBHM Radio Station Lot (Across the street from Football Operations Center on 11^th Street)

Gates: Gates will open at 2 p.m. to the public with two entrances:

Side entrance between the Ullman Building and Collat School of Business
Back entrance by outdoor practice field on corner of University Blvd and 11^th Street

What's Happening:

Autographs: The UAB football team, Coach Trent Dilfer and UAB volleyball team will be signing autographs from 2-3 p.m. 2024 schedule posters will be provided for signing.
Inflatables for children
UAB Bookstore will be on-site to purchase new gear ahead of the 2024-25 season
Interact with UAB football and volleyball student-athletes

Food Trucks: Kona Ice will be on-site for a refreshing treat.

The Blazers are 14 days away from opening the 2024 season at home against Alcorn State on Aug. 29 for a Party at Protective. Season and single game tickets are on sale by clicking here.
