Roters Signs with CB Adareva Tenerife in Spain

BIRMINGHAM – Former UAB forward Maria Roters recently signed on to play with CB Adareva Tenerife. The club, based in Canary Island, Spain, is part of the Liga Femenina Challenge in the second division of Spanish basketball. Tenerife's 30-game season will begin Sept. 30 and lasts to mid-April 2024.
Additionally, Roters will represent the U23 Spanish team in the final phase of the Nations League 3x3 held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia September 13-15.
As a Blazer, Roters played two seasons in Southside after transferring from Fairleigh Dickinson. She played in 62 games, making 58 starts while averaging 7.9 points per game and shooting 53.4% from the field.
GOLD CARD
Women's Basketball season tickets are available for $65 by purchasing the 2023-24 Gold Card. The Gold Card will allow you to gain access to all home events for Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer, Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Softball, and Baseball (Regions Field & Young Memorial). This card is not valid for American Athletic Conference or NCAA Championship events.
BLAZER BUDDIES KIDS CLUB
Blazer Buddies is the new official kids club of UAB Athletics and is open to all kids ages 12 and under. Blazer Buddies will receive a Blazer Buddies Kids Club ID which grants admission to all home men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball, women's basketball, softball, and baseball games. Blazer Buddies Kids Club members will also be eligible for discounted tickets to the UAB football game versus Louisiana on Sept. 16 and select men's basketball games.
