UAB Football Single Game Promotions: Game Three – Homecoming

BIRMINGHAM – Entering its fifth year honoring Children's Harbor, UAB Homecoming is set for the third home game of the season on Oct. 23 against Rice.

It has become one of the best traditions in college football as UAB honors Children's Harbor on Homecoming by wearing alternate gray and lime uniforms with patients' names on the back of the jersey.
UAB is 4-0 in Homecoming games since returning to action in 2017 and has won them in dramatic fashion. Three of the four contests have been one-possession games, including the blocked kick as time expired in 2017 against Louisiana Tech.
The UAB Department of Athletics will also honor its Hall of Fame Class of 2020, which features five members in the late Josh Evans (football), Dr. Jim Hilyer (football), Elinor Kirk (track & field/cross country), Shayne Carnes (Baseball) and Tara Kidwell (women's soccer).
Gameday will feature the recognition of the 2020 Hall of Fame Class, 2021 Mr. and Ms. UAB and also welcomes the UAB Marching Blazers Alumni Band.

Discounted group tickets and fan experiences are also now available for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets to any home football game during the 2021 season.
