BIRMINGHAM – Following the 2020-21 men's basketball priority seat deadline of Sept. 1, this season's priority seat allocation will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 15. UAB Athletics will be assigning seat locations for both renewals and new season ticket holders based on requests leading into the 2020-21 season. To ensure your place in the priority allocation, purchase or renew your season tickets by Monday, Sept. 14.
"We came here to compete for the Conference USA Championship immediately," head coach Andy Kennedy said. "In order for that vision to come to fruition, we need you to purchase season tickets and help us turn Bartow Arena back into one of the best home court advantages in college basketball."
Guided by local and state health officials, UAB Athletics is currently working on various capacity scenarios for basketball at Bartow Arena. With this in mind, all season ticket locations will not be confirmed until the seating model is complete. Anyone who purchases a season ticket prior to Monday, September 14, will be allocated based upon the Blazer Boosters Priority Points System, the price type of tickets purchased and their seat location preference.
Basketball season ticket holders, UAB students, and student-athlete guests will have top priority during the allocation process as safety measures at Bartow Arena are confirmed leading into the upcoming season.
"We are planning to accommodate fans at Bartow Arena this season and are working with state and local officials to establish proper guidelines to promote the safety of our student-athletes, coaches and fans," said UAB Director of Athletics Mark Ingram. "As details continue to come together that impact your experience at our games, we will provide you with further updates."
More information will be provided in the coming weeks as the season approaches. The best way for fans to guarantee their seat during the 2020-21 UAB men's basketball season is by purchasing season tickets which start as low as $100.
