UAB Baseball Adds Andrew Neubert to 2021 Class

BIRMINGHAM — The UAB baseball program and head coach Perry Roth announce the signing of right-handed pitcher Andrew Neubert to the 2021 Signing Class.
"Andrew is a young man who we are fortunate to add to our program," said Roth. "He is a good student and has a reputation as a hard worker. He has a fastball that gets into the 90s and some good off-speed pitches to compliment that fastball.
"He comes from outstanding high school and summer baseball programs where he has had very good success and has been trained well."
Neubert, a native of Woodstock, Ga., attended River Ridge High School and played for head coach Scott Bradley. During the shortened 2020 season, Neubert struck out 18 over 16.0 innings. In 2018, he was named Offensive Player of the Year.
During the summers, Neubert played for travel ball coach Brian Nelson. He was named to the Under Armour Preseason All-American and Rawlings/Perfect Game Underclassman Teams.
Neubert was invited to play in the 2020 Perfect Game Fall World Championship for Team Georgia and head coach Chris McRaney.
