UAB to Host Inaugural Blazer Beach Bash Fundraising Tournament

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB beach volleyball team will host the inaugural Blazer Beach Bash Fundraising Tournament on Sunday, Aug. 18 at its new state-of-the-art five-court facility.

The format for the fundraiser is a men's doubles tournament and a women's doubles tournament, which both start at 9 a.m. The tournament fee is $30 per person and you must be 18 years or older to participate.

Participants are encouraged to arrive at 8:45 a.m. for a pre-tournament meeting and to fill out a mandatory waiver form prior to action starting.

There will be raffle prizes throughout the day and an opportunity to mingle with head coach Kyra Iannone and current members of the beach volleyball team.
