Legacy Pavilion Celebration Set for Friday at Bartow Arena

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB Department of Athletics, Blazer IMG Sports Marketing and Legacy Community Federal Credit Union will host a celebration for their recent partnership announcing the advancement of the Blazers’ Football Operations Center and Legacy Pavilion.
The celebration, which starts at 2 p.m., is set for this Friday, June 24, at Bartow Arena. UAB President Dr. Ray Watts, Director of Athletics Mark Ingram, Head Football Coach Bill Clark and Joe McGee, President and CEO of Legacy Community Federal Credit Union, headline the program.
UAB Athletics, in conjunction with Blazer IMG Sports Marketing and Legacy Community Federal Credit Union recently announced the largest-ever sponsorship, a 20-year $4.2 million naming rights agreement that will support construction of the Football Operations Center.
As a result, Legacy has become the official credit union of UAB, and the football team will conduct practice activities at Legacy Pavilion, a game-changing development for the program.
