UAB Softball Game Against Mississippi State Canceled

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The UAB softball team's game against Mississippi State scheduled for Tuesday night has been canceled due to playing conditions.
Early Tuesday morning a severe storm passed through the area, leaving the playing field unsuitable for play. As of noon Tuesday, weather had not allowed the field to be prepared to host the game.
Tuesday's game will not be rescheduled.
The Blazers (9-8) have the remainder of the week off. They will gear up 3:30 p.m. Friday when they face Alabama State, as part of the Magic City Classic at Spain Park in Hoover.
