Blazers To Face Birmingham-Southern Tuesday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team travels to cross-town foe Birmingham-Southern Tuesday for a 6 p.m. contest at Scrushy-Striplin Field on the Panther campus.
UAB (21-22, 8-12 Conference USA) is coming off a 6-2 loss to No. 12 Southern Miss last Sunday in Conference USA play at Young Memorial Field. The Golden Eagles took two games out of the three-game series as the teams split a doubleheader last Saturday.
Birmingham-Southern (34-12, 16-2 Big South Conference) defeated Radford 5-2 last Saturday at Scrushy-Striplin Field in its last outing. The Panthers took two games out of the three-game set.
The game will be broadcast live in Birmingham on WDJC AM 850 and on Birmingham-Southern's official athletics website www.bscsports.net.
