Fans Invited To Visit Blazer Village Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- Blazer Village will open at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, two hours prior to UAB's football game with Pittsburgh at Legion Field.
Blazer Village offers a great college football atmosphere and entertainment for the entire family with food, interactive games, live music, a pep rally and much more.
As an added bonus this Saturday, UAB head men's basketball coach Mike Anderson will be on hand at Blazer Village to meet the fans and sign autographs.
Individual game tickets ($18 reserved/$12 general admission) for Saturday's "Steel City Showdown" will be available at Bartow Arena Friday, Sept. 13, by calling SouthTix at 933-1280, or on the web at www.uabsports.com. Day of game tickets will be available at the Hill University Center (10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.) or at the Legion Field Ticket Office (3:00 p.m.-kickoff).
The Legion Field parking lots open at 2:00 p.m. The Legion Field gates will open at 4:30 p.m.
Fans are reminded that the following items are prohibited from being brought into the stadium: cameras and video cameras (other than those of media photographers), food and drinks, small and individual radios, and any type of weapon.
